A prav lik Mami me je še posebej pritegnil. Čeprav je nekoliko negativna junakinja, sem občudovala njeno samozavest,« je pojasnila.

"On her 21st birthday, her friends and family joined her for a celebration. But it wasn't just a birthday party – it was her engagement soireé to Mami. She said: "Both my parents and friends were supportive."I love Mami and I wanted to celebrate that."In 2024, Lucie obtained a working visa and moved to Tokyo full-time in a bid to spend the rest of her life with Mami. But then, she met Kaori, 27.She said: "I had started meeting up with like-minded people at local cafes to chat about manga."After six months, I began dating a girl called Kaori."I still loved Mami, but I didn't think my relationship with her should stop me from pursuing a real-life relationship, too."Of course, I told Kaori all about Mami and she wasn't jealous at all."In August 2025, she posted about her two-year engagement. And it caught the attention of Sun Euro, who offer solo ceremonies, and were branching out into 2D-weddings between people and fictional characters. They reached out to offer Lucie the wedding of her dreams. She said: "I said yes immediately."It was so exciting."Just four months later, it was the big day. After getting her hair and makeup done, she and Mami – the plushie version – were fitted into their bespoke bridal gowns.Sadly, her parents and real-life girlfriend, Kaori, were unable to attend.Lucie said: "My parents really wanted to be there, but they couldn't make it at such short notice."And Kaori couldn't get the time off work."But they watched it all unfold on Zoom."I read my vows in Japanese and asked her to let me always be by her side."I know she's a fictional character and I don't need her to love me back."But I wanted my vows to reflect my real emotions."It was a beautiful ceremony and it felt amazing to reaffirm what Mami means to me."While the ceremony wasn't legally binding, Lucie felt tied to her new wife in a spiritual sense. She shared the day on social media, @?hikari.sunshine, racking up over four million views and 587,000 likes.Sadly, it wasn't only met with well wishes. She said: "People were accusing me of being delusional."I know Mami isn't real – but why does that mean I can't love her?"We're not harming anyone."People might find my situation strange."But who says I shouldn't do what makes me happy?"She hopes to one day tie the knot – legally – to a real-life woman.Though it's important they accept Mami.Lucie added: "Life is brighter when you're open and proud about what you love."ENDSEDITOR'S NOTE: All press are kindly requested to include mention of the case study's Instagram handle somewhere in the copy and digital press are requested to link to this: https://www.instagram.com/hikari.sunshine/Exclusive Licence: An exclusive licence has been obtained directly from the verified copyright holder.

»Ljudje so me obtoževali, da imam blodnje.
